Step 1: Test Connection
Please save your credentials and configuration, then test the connection to proceed.
Step 2: Choose Operation
This is the ID returned when you created the content, or found in the CMS.
Step 3: Title & HTML Content
Enter the title and HTML content for your page or article.
This will be used as the page/article title in the CMS.
The main HTML content for your page or article. You can include HTML tags.

Joomla Connector Setup Guide
Prerequisites
- You must have admin access to your Joomla site (version 4 or higher).
- Ensure your site supports the Web Services feature (built into Joomla 4+).
Step 1: Enable Web Services
- Log in to your Joomla admin panel.
- Go to System β Manage β Plugins.
- Search for API - Web Services (or System - Web Services) and enable it.
- This allows external platforms like SearchAtlas to publish articles through Joomlaβs API.
Step 2: Create an API User
- Go to Users β Manage β Add New User.
- Create a dedicated user (for example,
api_user). - Assign the user a group with permission to create and edit Articles (usually Author or higher).
Step 3: Generate an API Token
- While logged in as the API user, go to User Menu β Edit Profile β API Token.
- Click Generate New Token.
- Copy the token shown β this will be used for authentication.
Step 4: Share Your Connection Details
Provide the following information so we can publish content for you:
- Site URL (e.g.
https://example.com) - API Token (the one you generated)
Weβll use your token as a Bearer token when sending content to your Joomla site.
Your Joomla site is now ready for publishing through SearchAtlas.
